Ann has turned her college
teaching experience into a professional writing career.
Inspiration for writing about her experiences with
disease occurred when she observed how sharing
experiences can offer hope and healing to those
struggling with traumatic life changes.
In addition to books, she
also writes articles and essays for local and national
publications, including the Chicken Soup books.
Ann is a liaison for the Guillain Barre Foundation and
runs a support group for patients and their families in
her area. For relaxation she loves to work in her garden
and says that whenever a passerby comments on her
flowers, she plants more. She lives with her husband and
their dog Henry in Broomfield, Colorado.
